Kingfishers Bend is a family-owned and operated farm based in Middle Pocket, NSW. We provide a trusted and transparent "pasture to plate" beef experience for our community.
The health of our soil is paramount to our breeding program. We heavily invest in organic materials that nurture the soil to enable the best possible pasture production. We use a combination of regenerative methods (organic fertilisers, rotational grazing and weed suppression) to give our herd the most nutritional pasture.

Our Farm management team has over 60 years experience in developing farms, pasture improvement and livestock management. Our commitment to soil health, pasture improvement and gentle farming provide a great quality beef.

Our cattle management practices are strongly grounded in low-stress handling techniques and principles. Our breeding program is focused on nurturing high quality, pasture raised F1 Wagyu & Black Angus cattle. We have a holistic approach using regenerative practice techniques that enable us to produce quality, great tasting beef.

We raise all of our livestock with love and make decisions based on the best interests of each animal, such as low stress handling & ethical animal practices. This allows us to deliver the highest quality beef - which we're proud to be delivering local instead of exporting.

We offer the public exclusive access to full/whole, half or quarter beasts - butchered in cuts of your choosing and delivered directly to you from our pasture to your plate.
How it works
When you order from Kingfishers Bend you can select the type of breed you want and the size - a whole, half or quarter beast.​

We have a set cut list that we have worked through with our local professional butchery to humanely butcher and vacuum-pack your meat cuts - delivering it to you the same week. Because you get fresh, vacuum-packed meat from paddock to plate it will last up to 12 months frozen - leaving plenty of time for amazing dining experiences.
We determine your final invoice based on the dressed weight of the carcass, which may differ slightly from the actual amount of beef you receive, known as the delivered weight. Weight loss during the butchering process to create ready-to-cook cuts is normal & to be expected. Our process involves processing the entire animal, and this includes the inclusion of some bones in the overall cost of your order. You'll receive all the good, usable bones in your delivery, suitable for making incredible bone broth and/or incorporating them into soups. Don't forget our canine friends who can enjoy the dog bones.
