Estimated final dressed weights:
¼ Beast - 70-85 kg
½ Beast - 140-170 kg

All produce received from the farm was top notch. Haven’t got through it all yet but every cut I have cooked so far has been super tasty and tender. Used the bones to make broth and the fat to make tallow. Could not recommend this beef highly enough. The team at the farm were a pleasure to deal with.

This is our second order and we’re surprised again when with how much meat there is in 1/4 of a beast when our meat order from Kingfisher Bend Farm arrived! Helena and Tyson kept us updated with each stage up to delivery. They are genuine farmers who care about their sustainable and ethical farming practices and dealings with their customers.
To be honest, the initial outlay is big but when you weigh up (pun intended 😁) the overall price per kilo and the superb quality of the meat, it is all worth it. The price per kilo from Kingfisher Bend Farm for the whole order, even the best high end cuts, works out at the price of mince from a regular butcher! You also get the bones to make bone broth and the fat to render for tallow. How good is that? My freezer shelves and drawers are full with mince, sausages, steaks, steak cubes and strips for casseroles and stir fries, roasts, ribs, corned beef, marrow bone, flat iron, porterhouse, rump, chuck, osso bucco. All amazing in flavour and quality.
