Cancellation Policy
Our farm operates with a strong commitment to respecting the whole animal and minimising waste wherever possible.
To secure your order, payment is required via deposit. Once your order is confirmed, we reserve space for you in an upcoming harvest and processing schedule.
By placing an order, you acknowledge that you understand the product you have purchased, agree to pay any remaining balance when invoiced, and will be available to receive your order during your allocated delivery period.
Your order plays an important role in helping us plan future harvests, processing schedules, and delivery logistics. By securing your place, we are able to make informed decisions around livestock numbers and processing capacity while minimising waste.
If your circumstances change prior to harvest, please contact our team as soon as possible. Deposits are fully refundable up until harvest.
Once harvest has commenced, deposits become non-refundable. By this stage, livestock, processing capacity, and delivery schedules have been planned based on confirmed customer orders and costs have already been incurred.
We kindly ask that you only place an order if you are confident in your purchase and have reviewed all product information, FAQs, and pricing details prior to ordering.
Returns & Refunds
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns.
We take great pride in the quality of our beef and want you to be delighted with your order. Upon delivery, customers must inspect their order as soon as possible and notify us of any concerns within 3 hours of delivery.
To assist with our assessment, please email info@kingfishersbendfarm.com with a description of the issue and clear photographic evidence where applicable.
We review all concerns on a case-by-case basis and will work with customers to determine an appropriate resolution where warranted. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a credit towards a future purchase or another suitable remedy.
As our products are perishable and prepared specifically for each customer, refunds are generally not available once an order has been delivered.
Deliveries
Orders are delivered via refrigerated courier in insulated thermal packaging designed to maintain product quality throughout transit.
Once your order has been harvested, processed, and paid for in full, it will be scheduled for delivery. Delivery timing may vary depending on your location and the courier network servicing your area.
Customers will receive delivery updates and tracking information from the courier prior to delivery. We strongly recommend monitoring tracking notifications and ensuring arrangements are in place to receive your order.
Our couriers are authorised to leave your order at the nominated delivery address if unattended. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept this authority to leave arrangement.
Your beef may arrive fully frozen or partially thawed but still cold to the touch. This is normal and safe due to the way our products are packed and transported.
It is the customer's responsibility to promptly retrieve their order following delivery and place it into appropriate refrigeration or freezer storage.
Once delivery has been completed, responsibility for the storage, handling, preparation, and consumption of the products passes to the customer.
